Staining and soiling of gravestones, historical monuments, markers, and statuary can result from many different causes. It can include soil splashing, pollution, rusting bolts and other metal features, bird deposits, berries, and sap dropping. Biological growth, such as algae, moss, or lichen, can cover an entire monument or simply part of it. These issues cause a monument to decay, make reading difficult, and lead to and cause long-term failure. Cleaning should be done with the gentlest means possible using the right products for the type of soiling. We use proper techniques with a cause-no-harm approach to everything we do.
